flash cut, roughly 4.5x6.5 inches, hand painted by unknown tattooer. 1930s joe and/or mabel darpel? thomas berg? others? came from dutch van dee texas flash collection.
Dutch Van Dee (1901-1974) was a prolific and influential central Texas tattooer, carnival/sideshow operator, boxer, wrestler, outlaw, and wild man, leaving 20 aliases behind in his wake. Dutch was the owner of the "Texas Flash Collection", one of the largest collections of antique and vintage tattoo flash ever collected.
