vintage dutch van dee milton zeis tattoo flash daggers texas giclee print 10x13

Dutch Van Dee was a prolific and influential central Texas tattooer, carnival/sideshow operator, boxer, wrestler, outlaw, and wild man. Dutch started tattooing in the late 1920s until he died in 1974, mostly in Texas but also in Canada and across the US. Dutch was also the original owner of the "Texas Flash Collection", one of the largest collections of antique and vintage tattoo flash ever collected. The original hand-colored (most likely by Dutch) Milton Zeis flash sheet was part of that collection.

10x13 inch reproduction "giclèe" fine art archival print scanned from the original hand colored zeis tattoo flash. the print was professionally printed and produced on 300 weight, archival, matte paper using only fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. this sheet is the closest to the original sheet as could be possibly made. colors on this one are amazing.

print does include the image of the frame the sheet was in.

last photo is an extremely rare photo of dutch himself in front of several sheets of tattoo flash, circa 1950s in texas. it is not included in the sale but just to add historical context to the flash.
