Authentic and original, hand-drawn/painted original hand-colored tattoo flash by tattooer, possibly w.h. wilson, circa early 1900s, a relatively unknown Pennsylvania tattooist. came in a lot of old tattoo items somehow connected to WH Wilson.
Size of sheet is 3.5x5 inches.
condition is used and stained in very aged condition. on old notebook paper.
on reverse side is sketch of 1900s pinup woman.
The tattoo flash came from a large cache of paper tattoo items from a relatively unknown tattooist, WH Wilson, of Pennsylvania. The art is representative of Wilson's typical folky loose style, most likely 1905-1917 based on dates in the cache. very rarely do 100 year old tattoo flash items come up for auction.
